Felicia A Mead Is the first African-American female from South-Central Los Angeles to come out as a horror film writer, director, and producer.
She attended West Los Angeles College in (2008-10) for Multimedia. In 2012-14 she attended Los Angeles City College for Cinema. Later in 2017 she earned her AA degree in Cinema .Before she attended LACC, she wrote and directed her first short horror film called: The Axe ; in 2010-12 while attending film school, she wrote and directed, short horror stories: The Little Girl, The Skull Of Chaka and No Ones Their. In 2014 she created a web series of short horror stories called: The Confessions Of A Dark Mind Series. In 2017 she wrote directed and Produced her first comedy short called The Overnight Stay which was selected for four film festivals and was screen in the Miami international Indiewise film festival and America film institution Tinted Rose short stories. In 2018 she written and directed her first psychological horror thriller call The Lonely Man which was selected for three film festivals screened in Planet9filmfest. She also was featured in Slkk magazine, a guess on teen celebrities, Feel Good radio and urban radio.
